Seb Kirby gets right into the story in Double Bind. “The guy with the bad attitude has been following me all week.” A highly recommended read and well deserved of the 5 star rating. Suffice to say this is an often bizarre story involving conspiracy theories with plenty of thought-provoking ideas thrown in.ĭouble Bind is an intriguing psychological thriller, with a good dose of science fiction mixed up with good old-fashioned mystery and murder. I won’t delve into more of the story as many reviewers have already done that. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader on their toes. Seb Kirby has created a unique tale of identity theft and body snatching ‘earthlings’ whose own world has been destroyed.Īpart from the first couple of chapters where I was a bit confused before I settled into the story properly, I was soon zipping along and reading the chapters (which are fairly short) at a fast rate. ![]() I read Seb Kirby’s first novel, Take no more over a year ago and I was fairly certain his second book would be written along a similar vein. ![]()
