The more recent artworks have been put into a travelling exhibition. Her artworks have been exhibited since her first book. Not all of Jeannie’s artwork is on exhibition. Using the Conceptual Framework with Jeannie Baker It provides various approaches which are flexible to use depending on which area you want to focus on. The conceptual framework is a helpful resource for pre-service teachers to use in teaching art and preparing lessons. They can take aspects from the various documentations and combine or manipulate it to make the most out of every art activity. These documentations provide a framework to use in the Arts but teachers need to experiment with these frameworks as they are only frameworks. Teachers and preservice teachers can draw outcomes and focus areas for their art activities from several places including the Victorian Essential Learning Standards, the National Curriculum and various other state curriculum documentations. The conceptual framework is a framework which is designed so that any of the concepts it focuses on (Artwork- Subject Matter- Artist- Audience) can be the centre focus and form relationships with the other concepts. (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority, 2007) These are Making and Creating, and Exploring and Responding. In The Arts domain there are two dimensions. The Victorian Essential Learning Standards provide guidelines for The Arts domain.
